Foggy Saturday Afternoon

Yesterday my friends and I went to Tagaytay for lunch. We were supposed to go to the beach but we decided to have a day trip to the city. A blessing in disguise indeed, if we pushed through with the beach trip, we might end up staring at the rain all day or stuff ourselves with food (since Tiff loves to cook and all).
As soon as I woke up from my bed, I felt chilled and immediately looked outside my window. It was raining so hard and I said to myself that I have to gear up for the cold weather.

After a two hour drive, we arrived at the place. We were just surprised that the fog's everywhere: left, right, front and back. We couldn't help but take a picture of it. It's not like everyday we see fog in Metro Manila.... well as a matter of fact smog has conquered the metropolis. Good thing I didn't drive that day (well even if I was asked to drive, I would have said no... hallur I gotta think of my friend's welfare and I don't want them to knock at St. Peter's door at this point!!) because it looked like it was difficult to drive. Carlo turned the lights in bright mode so that he could see the road ahead. It felt like heaven has dropped because the fog just kept on coming, crawling its way towards us. At the end of our journey, we have arrived at our destination: Breakfast at Antonio's. Due to the long trip, we were so hungry and we ended up ordering our food, plus pancakes and hot chocolate! Yummm!!!

As soon as we finished our lunch, we headed to The Cliffside to grab some coffee at Cafe Breton. Again, the fog was following us and raindrops kept falling on our heads (yyyeesss kantahan na toh!). There were very few people at the restaurant and so we owned the place. Upon sipping our cup of joe, we just pour out stories from the past and laughed our hearts out.

The gang waiting for our coffee and Tiff's La Pinay CrepeFinally Tiff's La Pinay has arrived!

Of course, part of sipping coffee, eating crepe and laughing out loud was to camwhore the entire time. We asked the cute couple (Carlo and Carla) to pose for us, magfeeling poster models ng Cafe Breton and it turned out to be such an "aawww moment" picture.

"Let me stir your cup of coffee Carla"

I guess it's the cold breeze plus the rain or something, my hair began to funk up. When I brushed up my bangs, it turned out like this:

Cameron Diaz of "There's Something About Mary".... Hahahahaa!

My hair also started to frizz as the wind blew stronger. I realized that I have to go to the parlor and have my hair treated. Hhaayysssuuss!! Hahahaha!!

But at the end of the day, all of us had so much fun. I will not forget that foggy Saturday afternoon.

Then I thought of a song that's just perfect for that day (from the "Elf" Soundtrack entitled Baby It's Cold Outside)

I really can't stay - Baby it's cold outside
I've got to go away - Baby it's cold outside
This evening has been - Been hoping that you'd drop in
So very nice - I'll hold your hands, they're just like ice

My mother will start to worry - Beautiful, what's your hurry
My father will be pacing the floor - Listen to the fireplace roar
So really I'd better scurry - Beautiful, please don't hurry well
Maybe just a half a drink more - Put some music on while I pour
