Christiania - I kinda call it a country within a country because it has a world of its own. It's a town inside Copenhagen. It was raved that the place of eternal hippie environment, has really cheap but excellent beer and has endless supply of weed. As a researcher at heart, I tried to find out what's up with this town. Then I saw a few pictures and it kinda looked like a ghost town timewharped in the 70's. But apparently people go here to experience a different kind of fun and to become a philosophical junkie. Read about the description, it sounds so hippie to me: Christiania is the land of the settlers. It is the so far biggest opportunity to build up a society from scratch - while nevertheless still incorporating the remaining constructions. Own electricity plant, a bath-house, a giant athletics building, where all the seekers of peace could have their grand meditation - and yoga center. Halls where theater groups can feel at home. Buildings for the stoners who are too paranoid and weak to participate in the race... Yes for those who feel the beating of the pioneer heart there can be no doubt as to the purpose of Christiania. It Äąs the part of the city which has been kept secret to us. Peaceout brotha!
Country within a country... Entrance to this interesting townEugenics - Some kind of a social responsibility to improve the human race. It's like what happened in Gattaca: Send the better genes to the outer space while the inferior stays on planet earth and be building cleaners. It was at attempt of the Nazis to have the Aryan race as the dominant species of this planet and tried to erase the Jews in the face of the earth. Well it didn't work. Then an interesting yet subtle description that Singapore went through "some twisted Eugenics", which was conceptualized by "the Lee royal family." Smart people must "connect" with smart people, in order to produce a smart kid, just one smart kid and that's it. Well in fairness because of such, they are a good and progressive tiny nation. But some retorted "the beginning of the end... no weed, no porn, no fun..." and "repression is good for the GDP". Poor souls?? Whattya think?? I don't think Eugenics will work in this free world. Strength and weakness contribute to the diversity and beauty of this planet. It brings unity to mankind. I dunno, it's not gonna work... if it does, it's gonna be like a movie, like Gattaca.

Volcanic Rocks - I so wanna try that out at The Spa. Some are afraid to go through it because the basalt rocks are too hot but it's actually a soothing way to release cold and sore muscles. Quite pricey though but hey, gotta treat ourselves sometimes. Volcanic Rock massage or any kind of massage, I sure need one!
Wow... soothing!
The Legions of Nameless Faceless Corporate Whores - Well aren't we all!! We always rant about our work. And I realize that it's kinda okay to say "Ayoko naaahh" in the midst of corporate toxicity, rest a little bit (like a couple of months) and then tell the world "I'm back with a vengeance". After the break, I guess we'll still be the Legions of Nameless Faceless Corporate Whores but at the same time, we can be more than that. As BS as it may sound, maybe our current situation can bring out other things to make this world a better place.
Oh well, these are my rambling thoughts shared with bored, worldly friends stuck in the land of the Elves. Gotta go to my slumber. Zzzzzzzz.....
