Evolution of family togetherness...

... or if you want to place a sentimental angle, you can actually play "through the years" while checking out old pictures. Hahahaha ang drama!!

Nostalgia is engraved in my DNA. As we are moving on with our current lives, it is nice to look back, smile and see how young we were and how we have become at this present moment.

As part of my household duties and responsibilities (aside from paying some bills), my dad has asked me to scan all our pictures (from our dusty photo albums), archive it in our computer and burn them in numerous CDs. Although I still have looooonnnggg way to go, I'm actually having a great time doing this.

Hard cold truth is that the three of us are getting old but we keep in mind to be childlike. Thanks to Limewire, my parents and I would huddle in the PC and look for our favorite "kabataan" hits (like my 'rents, think they checked all the 70's hits and I looked at Crash Test Dummies, Afghan Whigs and even Alicia's Attic and many more). In the end, we all feel young, like it is as if we're 16 or something.

Anyway going back to photographs, I found this picture that made me laugh so hard...

Hihihihihi... circa 1994 at Field Museum, Chicago. I was 12 and my parents were around 36-37. Dang we were young. And in 10 more years or so, I'll be 36 or 37.... OMIGOSH I don't even want to think about that!!

European trip 1998. This was taken in Amsterdam, right in front of the Rhine River.

Okay fastforward.... this was just last year during All Saint's Day. I like this photo because we just looked relaxed. Hehehehe!!

This was taken last February at my daddy's 50th birthday celebration. The theme was white shirt and jeans... so terno kami di'ba! San ka pa!! Hihihihi...

Well bottomline is that through the years, I wouldn't be who I am if it weren't for my parents. Even if we have our differences, in the end, we make sure that we're there for one another.

Definitely this "Family Togetherness Evolution" Album will keep on going. I love my folks. =)
