Aww that's cute!

The queen of England recycles her clothes! It's quite ironic, since she's the queen and all, with the glitz of so many red carpet events and moments, glamour is her middle name.

But because of the economic and financial crisis (oh yeah, Britain just announced that they're going through a recession), frugality is the way to go. Hence, Queen Elizabeth II recycles her clothes!

It was said in the news that she googled (omigosh the queen surfs the net!) on haberdashery and tailoring. In the end, royalty has saved thousands of bucks on wardrobe because she just repairs and refurbishes her clothes. At the same time, the small tailoring companies become progressive due to the Queen's demand, which is good. So for this year, she has worn the same style of gown twice already. Hhhhmmm not bad heh.

Well well, if the queen can be frugal in times like these, I guess so can we. Hhhmmm quite hard but it's a challenge. =)
