So I checked out this site and it is indeed the bible! But instead of the typical hardbound heavy book with a big golden cross embossed that we see around, this one is a glossy magazine!
The Old Testament
The New Testament
This was created by Dag Söderberg, a Swedish business-savvy-at-heart who used to be a CEO of a large ad agency in the entire Scandinavian region. Upon reading his profile, he claimed that he may not be religious but instead, he's spiritual. I guess this was his way to express his faith to God, in a chic and stylish manner. I truly affirm him for getting everybody's attention to a reading material that is kinda taken for granted by some people.
Book of Jeremiah
Book of Jona... Hmmm nice!
The book of Revelation... Quite disturbing huh? But I guess the pictures makes sense...
It seems to me that he's targeting the urbanistas who have forgotten the word of God, in the midst of this demanding modern and technological planet.
I checked Fully Booked if they have the English version already but unfortunately they don't have it... YET. They said they'll order and it'll take days. I guess I'll wait.
It's been a while since I read the bible. The last time I read the bible was back in college during my Theology classes. The only time I kinda got enticed to read the bible was my cousin's children's illustrated bible (wherein you can also color the pictures!). Oh yeah, aside from the children's illustrated bible, my other sources of Christianity were Superbook and Flying House. Hahahahaha classic!
In a nutshell, well, I'm quite graphic. Hehehe! That's why I'm starting to love it! (Yeah this really caught my attention).
When was the last time you read the bible?
