Tempur in Manila

Eight months ago I was raving to have a Tempur bed, so that I'll have the best slumbers or in the world... or as they say "a breakthrough in sleep technology that will FOREVER CHANGE THE WAY YOU SLEEP". Alas, Tempur beds have arrived in Manila and they are selling these babies at the Powerplant mall.

I immediately went to the exhibit and felt the comfort, strength and support of these wonders, as I slid my hands onto the smooth, velvet-felt bed. What amazed me was that not only they were selling the beds, but also the pillows. They said that it'll support the back neck and upper back very well. Perfect for those who are heavily stressed.

At the same time, they said that it won't attract dust-bunnies and other types of home cooties because of its superb material. So say goodbye to allergic sniffies.

I thought they were so hard to get but now that they're here in the country, I wanted to bring these babies home. Oh yeah but first I asked for the price and I just got blown away. Let's just say, it's a whopping 6-digit figure max. Oh my gosh it's like buying a car! If the bed has wheels and has substituted crude oil as a source of its power (like let's say the sun or the moonlight can be its source of power?), I might consider it. But apparently it ain't got any wheels!

Then I checked on the pillows. I said to myself maybe they aren't that bad after all, in terms of the price or something. Dang the prices of the pillows ranged from Php5,000-Php8,000. Quite pricey but maybe when you get one it might be worth it.

But why get the pillow alone when you can get the entire bed set?!!

Ack I need to hit the lottery and get these slumber set babies immediately... after getting a nice and awesome crib and a cool car... sweet!

They have a showroom, located at Unit 1E04 Building 5 Bonifacio High Street, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. Phone number is (02) 8564700.

The Tempur showroom in Shangri-La has been open for about two years now.:) Nakakatawa nga nung opening, they gave a rundown of the names of the people who own Tempur mattresses--it was like a who's-who of the sosyalan world!

H has a Tempur pillow, which he absolutely loves! You can try buying a much cheaper memory foam topper-type thing from Uratex and just place it on top of your existing mattress.:)
