I shall keep on TRYing the Multi-Sport

Who would have thought I could actually do this multi-sport called Triathlon? It was a far-fetched dream (or illusion) for me do this because it really requires a lot of endurance. But then slowly, it became a reality.

June 9, 2012 was the Century Tuna Animo Sprint Triathlon 2012. It was a good event for first timers because they had short distance on the swim (300m), bike (7.5KM) and run (2.5 KM). Not bad huh? And definitely a good opportunity for me to TRY out TRI.

Mommy was there to support me, even if at the last minute I realized that I left my bike helmet, we went back to Makati (from Alabang) to get it. Thank God for Skyway. She got calm when she saw lil kiddos doing the multi sport.

It's been YEAAARRSS since I seriously swam but it was definitely an awesome experience to hit the pool. Though I still need to practice (and I mean a lot), it's a good start to paddle... kick... paddle.. kick.. paddle.. paddle.. paddle...

The bike was a chillax ride. I didn't really kick that hard because I was cautious on the road and pretty scared. But then again, I had a great time appreciating the sceneries.... of Alabang... Hahaha!

Looks like I'll be hooked on this. In the near future, I aspire to do Tri olympic distances such as SuBIT or Tri-United. Maybe it will be in my wildest wildest dreams to do Ironman 70.3. But who knows?

So bottom line, I gotta practice practice and practice. Train train train! I think more expenditures will be made in the process: Bike upgrades, shoes, gears, bike upgrades.... oh wait I think I mentioned that earlier. Oh yeah my major concern, I WILL GET DARK!! Hahahahaha! Therefore I really have to think of reinforcements to stay luminous. Hahahahahaha!!!

But then again, it's gonna be a fun journey for me.
